Chandrababu Naidu holds review with Kurnool TDP leaders
Amaravati: As the differences between TDP and BJP have reached a flash point and the General Elections are due in a year, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has decided to lay more focus on party affairs and prepare the partymen for the elections.
As part of this, the Chief Minster has started reviews with party leaders of different districts to know the ground realities and give directions to them to strengthen the party.
He conducted the first meeting with Kurnool district TDP leaders at his residence at Undavalli on Monday. Party MLAs, MLCs and other leaders participated in the meeting.
According to party leaders, Chandrababu Naidu has already given instructions to district and Lok Sabha constituencies’ in-charges based on reports of intelligence and party sources. “Now, he wants to know to what extent they worked out or followed the instructions given by him,” a party senior leader said.
Chief Minster has designed a primary level strategy on how to face the next elections and made suggestions to Kurnool leaders. He told the leaders that they should work united leaving their differences. He suggested to senior leaders to coordinate with the leaders who defected from YSR Congress into the TDP.
The Chief Minister reportedly enquired with the party leaders about the party status in Kurnool municipality. He asked them to get ready to face elections to Kurnool Municipality at any time.
He told them that he would continue the meeting on Tuesday also to know the party status in all Assembly constituencies. The Chief Minister will conduct the reviews of all districts henceforth.
