Chandrababu stated that the Centre should release about Rs 3,500 crore towards resource gap for the year 2014-15, Rs 4,000 crore to 5,000 crore for capital city construction, Rs 4,000 crore for Polavaram Project and borrow Rs 16,000 crore from Nabard as part of the special financial package announced by the Centre for AP in lieu of granting special status.

He said that the public anger will reflect in the next elections if the TD continues its alliance with the BJP even after Andhra Pradesh not getting any allocations in the Budget.

The Chief Minister said that 85 percent of the people are happy with the TDP government, however, they are upset with the BJP for not allotting funds properly to AP in the budget.
