East Coast Railway GM goes on inspection drive

Vizianagaram: As a part of annual inspection, Umesh Singh, General Manger, East Coast Railway, carried out inspections in Visakhapatnam-Palasa section On Tuesday. 

Divisional Railway Manager Mukul Saran Mathur accompanied him during the inspection. The major thrust being given to safety, passenger amenities, cleanliness and maintenance. Started with Visakhapatnam railway station inspection, he went on and checked passenger amenities, works in progress and commissioned RPF post.

He visited major bridge at  Bhimasinghi , which is between Korukonda and Alamanda stations.  At Vizianagaram railway station, he commissioned the Heritage Waiting hall, inspected the amenities and interacted with the media persons.

Continuing the inspection, General Manager inspected the office of the Permanent Way at Chipurupalli, commissioned new building of the Senior Section Engineer (Permanent Way), inspected various amenities in the colony of Chipurupalli, inspected staff quarters and interacted with the residents of the colony.
