Rise in night temp in State

Hyderabad: There was an appreciable rise in the night temperatures ranging from 2.10 to 4 degrees Celsius at one or two places in coastal Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday.

There was a markedly rise by 4.10 degrees Celsius or more at one or two places across Rayalaseema, the Met department bulletin said. According to the bulletin, the lowest minimum temperature of 15 degrees Celsius was recorded in Kalingapatnam, Jangamaheswarapuram and Kadapa.

The other night temperatures recorded in the State were: Visakhapatnam Airport 16, Nandigama, Arogyavaram and Nandyal 17, Bapatla and Kurnool 18, Narsapur, Tuni, Vijayawada, Anantapur and  Tirupati  19, Kakinada, Kavali and Visakhapatnam 20, and Machilipatnam, Nellore and Ongole 21 each.
