YSRCP to support Left bandh
Kurnool: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Kurnool Parliamentary constituency in-charge BY Ramaiah said that his party would participate in the state bandh call proposed by Left parties on February 8 (Thursday).
He said the party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy has directed the party activists to give support for the bandh and raise voice against the state and central governments. Ramaiah addressed a press conference at YSRCP office in city on Tuesday.
He alleged that due to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s faulty policies, Andhra Pradesh has lost its dignity in the hands of the BJP-led NDA government. Recalling YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s rule, Ramaiah said that the people of the state had their head held high with self-respect and dignity.
“Naidu has mortgaged everything with the Modi government and could not able to get either special category status or special package to state,” he slammed.
The YSRCP leader alleged that the central government did a great injustice to AP by not making sufficient allocations in the Union Budget, which was recently presented by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the Lok Sabha.
Issues like special status, railway zone and steel factory at Kadapa and Polavaram were not included in the budget, he lamented. Fearing about the cases against him, the Chief Minister maintaining silence, the YSRCP leader alleged.
On one hand, the Chief Minister says that TDP will break its ties with BJP and on the other, he says ties will continue. Nandikotkur MLA Y Isaiah said that state administration is running in temporary buildings in Chandrababu’s rule.
He demanded Naidu to answer about the allegations of corruption being made by the BJP leaders. He stated Rajasekhara Reddy had extended flawless governance to the people.
