AP Police win medals in shooting 

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh DGP M Malakondaiah congratulated the state police sports team for securing medals in All-India level police shooting competitions held in Indore from January 29 to February 2.

The Andhra Pradesh Police won one gold, one silver and three bronze medals in the event. Director General of Police M Malakondaiah congratulated the winners in a programme at his office in Mangalagiri on Wednesday.

M Krishna (Octopus) bagged first prize in 50 metres rifle individual category. He also won silver medal in big bore free rifle prone 300 metres individual and bronze medal in big bore free rifle prone 300 metres team categories.

PV Ravindra (Greyhounds), Y Bharat Kumar (Octopus) secured bronze medals. Additional Director General (law and order) Harishkumar Gupta and Inspector General of Police Battalions Rajeevkumar Meena were also present.
