Condolences pour in from politicians

Chittoor: The sudden demise of the TDP MLC and former Minister Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu on Tuesday night came as a shock to TDP district leaders. Leaders cutting across party lines have expressed their deep condolences to the bereaved family members of the departed leader. 

Industries Minister N Amaranatha Reddy, who was on an official trip to Sweden, has cut shot his tour and coming back to the state to attend the funeral of Naidu. Earlier, Muddu Krishnama Naidu used to visit Chittoor at least once in a week and addressed the media at party office. 

But, he did not visit the city in the last two years after he became MLC and was totally confined to his own native constituency. Speaking to The Hans India here on Wednesday, TDP district official spokesperson V Surendra Kumar said Muddu Krishnama Naidu was instrumental in strengthening the party in the district.
