CGH to offer thrombolytic therapy free of cost

Guntur: The Government General Hospital here is offering thrombolytic therapy to patients suffering from paralysis stroke or cerebrovascular accident at free of cost.

If the patient goes to GGH within golden hours of getting paralysis stroke, the doctors will administer thrombolytic therapy and the patient will recover within 36 hours.

CGH neurologist Dr Gajula Ramakrishna said first they take CT scan report of patient and then they will check the stroke score as per National Institute of Health parameters and administer treatment to the patient.
