RIMS staff demand payment of salaries

Srikakulam: Security, sanitation, out sourcing staff of RIMS Hospital staged a protest here on Saturday demanding payment of pending salaries. About 500 employees participated in the protest, along with their family members, under the aegis of CITU. Speaking on the occasion, they said that salaries have not been paid for the past 20 months as a result they are facing trouble to pay house rents and meet their other expenses. 

They lamented that officials and government are intentionally neglecting in resolving their demands like payment of provident fund share, entry in the list of Employee State Insurance (ESI) scheme to get medical aid free of cost. 

CITU and RIMS staff union representatives D Simhachalam,  A Suryanarayana, A Shyamala, T Mallesh, D Ganesh took part in the protest.
