Somu Veerraju refutes rumours
Rajahmundry: Senior BJP leader and MLC Somu Veerraju on Friday refuted the news that he was chided by the BJP top brass for his remarks on the TDP-BJP coalition.
Speaking to media persons here in Rajahmundry, the BJP MLC said that a few vernacular media channels are deliberately spreading the news to benefit the leaders of TDP.
"Check my call data records. The remarks I had made during the recent visit to Kurnool — two acres, one lakh crore scam, were not aimed at Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. The travesty is that the YSRCP is calling me a coward. I support Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena and the JAC he is setting up. I urge him to end the political uncertainty in the state," he said.
He further claimed that there is a conspiracy being hatched to suppress his voice. The TDP leaders are trying to fool the people in the state. When had the copies of Union Budget already distributed to Union Ministers before it was announced on the floor, why Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Sujana Chowdhary had not raised any objection? he questioned.
