Don’t divert SC/ST funds: Karem Sivaji 

Rajamahendravaram: SC/ST Commission Chairman Karem Sivaji on Sunday directed the officials not to divert the funds allotted for SC/STs welfare in the state.

Reviewing the implementation of schemes relating to SC/STs and fishermen community at Roads and Buildings guest house here, Sivaji said it is the duty of officials to spend funds judiciously.

He said that there were 8,706 members in the fishermen association of ST category and the government would provide a subsidy of 70 to 90 per cent relating to various schemes.
