Jawahar faults BJP for misleading people

Amaravati: Minister for Excise K S Jawahar said that it was not proper on BJP to ignore its alliance partner TDP and try to go hand in glove with YSR Congress Party.

In a release on Monday, Jawahar said the BJP was misleading people on funding to Andhra Pradesh though the Union government did not make sufficient allocations.  “The 27-page note released by BJP state chief K Hari Babu is not valid.

In fact, two pages are sufficient to say what the Union government has given to AP. People of AP will not believe the report of BJP and its false propaganda against the TDP government,” he said. He also requested the BJP to shed such kind of tactics to influence the public and do something sincerely to do justice to Andhra Pradesh.

He wanted to remind the saffron party that the country had seen what happened in 1983 when the people of AP agitated to protect their self-respect. “The same would repeat if the BJP continues its indifferent attitude towards Andhra Pradesh,” he warned.
