YS Jagan planning deeksha at Amaravati

Update: 2018-02-14 23:54 IST

YS Jagan seems to be queering the pitch for the ruling TDP. He has decided to go ballistic on the issue of the Centre giving a raw deal to Andhra Pradesh.

He is said to be planning a deeksha on the issue of special category status during the budget session of the AP Assembly. The deeksha is being planned in Amaravati. He is also making moves to turn the heat on the Telugu Desam and the Central Government by taking to agitational mode in Parliament. On Monday, he tweeted that his MPs will stage protests in Parliament on the issue.

The YSRCPs will demand specific assurances and action on the issue of special status, railway zone to Vizag and other assurances given at the time of the bifurcation of the state. The protests will continue till April 5 and if there is no positive sign, all YSRCP MPs will resign from Parliament.
