Walk with Jagan to where, asks Somireddy

Tirupati: Minister for Agriculture Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy lambasted Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy saying that his party has started a campaign of ‘Walk with Jagan’ and questioned “Where with Jagan”? “Is Jagan asking the youth to walk with him to courts or jail”?,Somireddy asked.

There is no such person in the country like Jagan. “We have seen Charles Sobharaj, Harshad Mehta, Sasikala, Lalu Prasad Yadav and many others. But he is unique with 11 cases and 14 charge sheets. What message he wants to give to the people,” Somireddy pointed out. He is not capable of leading a party as any political party leader should have a clean image and ethical values which could not be seen in Jagan.

He should quit the party leadership responsibilities and handover them to Roja or Ambati Rambabu or someone else till he comes out of all cases with a clean chit or till he finishes a sentence, Minister suggested.

All the cases on Jagan were filed by only Central government agencies and not by state government, during the tenure of UPA government and enquiry has been going on in NDA government.

After so many years, Enforcement Directorate was seizing several properties which was a clear indication that he was proved guilty. Still a person having money laundering cases and 420 cases on him is coming on to the streets without any shame, he said. 

On Union Budget 2018-19, while the coalition partner TDP was fighting in the Parliament,Jagan’s party praised it and even compared it with Mahabharath in all budget related articles in his own media. He was saying BJP Zindabad in New Delhi and playing dramas in the State, Chandramohan Reddy criticised.

The minister termed Jagan’smedia as ‘Voice of Jaganmohan Reddy’ which was there only to criticise Chandrababu Naidu and they never write about cases on Jagan, ED’s actions, etc.
