VRO in ACB net 

Guntur: Anti-Corruption Bureau officials on Friday caught Gamalapadu village revenue officer Kottapalli Benziman while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 from a farmer.  

According to ACB sleuths, Avula Srinivasa Rao, a farmer, applied for pattadar passbook. The VRO demanded Rs10,000 for giving pattadar passbook. After persuasion, the VRO agreed for Rs 5,000.

Vexed with the behaviour of VRO, Srinivasa Rao lodged a complaint with ACB officials. Acting on the complaint, the ACB officials laid a trap and caught the VRO while accepting Rs 5000 bribe at the office.
