TET exam to be held at 8 online centres in Nellore
Nellore: Collector R Mutyala Raju directed the officials to take measures to prevent malpractices in AP Teachers Eligibility Test 2018 being held in the district. Addressing the coordination committee meet at his chamber on Saturday, he said AP TET will be conducted online at 8 centres in the district from February 21 to March 3.
The test centres are: VITS, Kavali, Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, North Rajupalem; Narayana Engineering College, Muthkur Road, Nellore; Digital Zone College, Kodavaluru; NBKR Institute of Science and Technology, Vidyanagar; Audi Sankara College Of Engineering, Gudur (Two centres); and Ramireddy Subbaramireddy Engineering College, Kadanuthala, Bogole mandal.
Exam will commence from 9.30 am to 12 noon and from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. Mutyala Raju informed that they had set up committees to provide basic amenities at the exam centres. He asked the committee members to conduct searches in colleges and submit a report to DEO on any inadequate amenities. He said disabled have to arrange their own helper for exam with those only studied up to intermediate.
Authorities have to arrange generators at the centres, he added. Collector directed the invigilators and water boys not to bring their mobile phones to exam centres. DEO K Samuel, SE of APSPDCL Vijay Kumar, DM&HO Dr C Varasundaram and others were present.
