We need not depend on anybody’s mercy: Chandrababu Naidu
Amaravati: “We need not to depend on anybody’s mercifulness. Our strength is SriramaRaksha for us,” observed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in a tele-conference on Neeru Pragati at his residence at Undavalli in Guntur on Monday.
He explained to the officials that majority of bifurcation promises were not fulfilled. The promises given by the then Prime Minister also yet to be fulfilled.Our MPs are fighting against the Central government in Parliament demanding justice to the state.
``We should continue the spirit and we should work for the development of state. Both, fighting of public representatives and striving of government machinery benefit the state,’’stated Chandrababu Naidu.
“We need not to depend on anybody’s mercy. Our strength is our Srirama Raksha. We should work hard for development of the State”, Chandrababu Naidu motivated the officials in the tele-conference.
He urged the officials to look at the way the government has been organising the State Formation day. He suggested to get inspired by the Nava NirmanaDeekshaandMahaSankalpam, which are organised by State government every year.
There must be a strong system for agriculture market intervention to protect the interests of farmers in the state, he directed. He explained that the government increased the loans to farmers for the last four years.
The tenant farmers are also getting four-five times more loans than in the previous governments, he added. Despite of the continuous efforts by the officials, only 78 percent of farmers loan target reached in this agriculture year, but it should be reached 100 percent, he directed.
There is an urgent need to encourage research in protecting crops from pests in the state, he observed. He added that the horticulture should be encouraged in not less than one crore acres in the state, which would yield high remuneration to the farmers.
Chief Minister directed to intensify the JalaSamrakshana (Save Water) second movement in this summer to protect the water bodies.
