Update: 2018-02-19 16:13 IST

YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday held a public meeting at Kandukuru in Prakasam district as part of his ongoing 'Praja Sankalpa Padayatra’.

Speaking at the meeting, he said that YSRCP is prepared to bring a 'no confidence' motion in the Parliament against the NDA government, over the demand of special category status for Andhra Pradesh with the support from TDP.

YS Jagan even sought support from Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan in order to unite for the interest of Andhra Pradesh.

He said that even if TDP doesn’t extend support for the same, they will move the motion in the last week of March.

The YSRCP Chief further urged the TDP and BJP MPs from AP to resign in a bid to mount pressure on the Centre and secure special category status.
