Ganja worth 2 lakh seized from woman 

Atmakuru: The civic police apprehended a woman and recovered from her 14 kg of ganja worth Rs 2 lakh at Karivena village on Monday. She was identified as Tulasibai, who was smuggling ganja packets from Kottapalli mandal.

The civil police laid the trap and arrested her as the Excise police became a bit slack in detecting ganja smuggling. Atmakuru DSP Madhva Reddy has presented the accused before the media.

He has stated the cops are on the lookout for Surya Naik and Chenchu Bayyanna. He has appreciated CI Krishnaiah and SI Venkata Subbaiah for cracking the case.
