Govt to provide house to every poor family: Narayana

Ongole: The State government is going to provide houses to all poor families living in urban areas, announced urban housing minister P Narayana. The minister Narayana, Ongole MLA Damacharla Janardhan and collector V Vinaychand visited various places in Ongole on Monday to select site for construction of houses in Ongole Assembly constituency.

The team visited the 3-acre land opposite the transport department office and 232 acre land at Errajarla village. The officials explained the minister that 100 acres in the land is allotted to Ongole IIIT. The minister ordered them to consider 100 acres for housing and the remaining 32 acres for construction of a stadium. Later they visited a place at Chintala village in Kothapatnam mandal.

The MLA explained the minister that they are taking measures to construct houses for 10,000 families in Ongole and still the poor are submitting applications through Meeseva. Ongole Municipal Commissioner S Venkata Krishna, RDO K Srinivasa Rao and tahsildar Chiranjeevi also participated.
