Minister’s followers ransack MP’s office

Kadapa: Tension prevailed at Kondapuram mandal headquarters for some time when followers of Marketing Minister C Adinarayana Reddy and former Minister Ramasubba Reddy have ransacked the furniture in the office of Rajya Sabha member CM Ramesh on Monday.

They resorted to violence alleging the MP was responsible for stalling the tenders relating to the Rehabilitation Colony in Kondapuram. They also obstructed the road contract works being executed by CM Ramesh.

According to the sources, the government has called tenders for construction of a Rehabilitation Colony to the displaced of Gandikota Reservoir.

Followers of Minister and former Minister have allegedly formed a syndicate to get the contract. Coming to know about their plans, Ramesh reportedly has exerted pressure on the officials and stopped the tender process.
