4-year-old killed in stray dogs attack

Kurnool: A four-year-old boy was killed in stray dogs’ attack at Chityala village under Krishnagiri Mandal on Tuesday. According to the details extended by the Village Panchayat Secretary, A Kareemunissa, the deceased Ibrahim was the only son of Village Revenue Assistant (VRA), Talari Hussain Peera and Chandi Bee. Both wife and husband were said to have gone to work at a groundnut field.

With them they have taken their son leaving another daughter at the house under the care of family elders. Hussain Peera and Chandi Bee were busy working at the groundnut crusher machine and Ibrahim was playing nearby. While the parents were busy, two stray dogs attacked Ibrahim, but his screams were not heard due to the sound of the crushing machine.

However, in the afternoon all the workers sat down to have lunch, but the parents could not locate their son. Worried parents began searching for their son. After half a kilometre they heard two dogs were growling with each other.

They went in the direction and found their son has become to the dogs’ bait. They immediately drove out the dogs unfortunately they could not save their son from the dogs attack. The Panchayat Secretary said that it is the first time that a kid was killed in the attack by stray dogs. The Krishnagiri police said that they are aware of the incident, but no one lodged complaint with them.
