6 injured in tyre factory mishap
Visakhapatnam: Six laboures were injured after a fire broke out in Ch N Agrahara Lalithaba Tyres factory while the workers removing crude oil tanker bolt with the help of welding equipment at Rebeka village of Anakapalli mandal on Tuesday. According to Anakapalli Mandal Revenue Officer C Satyanarayana, four people were severely injured and suffered with 80 per cent burns.
The injured were identified as S Srininvas (42) who is an auto driver but going for NMR work at tyre company since last four days and the other victim Kona Madhu (19) is working as helper under welder, the both were the residents of Rebaka village.
The other four victims, M Kumar(19), K Srinu(18),T Govind(24) and T Gopi (19), were residents of Gajuwaka area. Fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the fire after a long struggle, he added.
