Students told to update knowledge

Eluru: Andhra University English Prof Parvathi on Tuesday called upon students to concentrate on current issues to achieve success in competitive examinations. She was participating as chief guest in the St Teresa Autonomous College for Women annual day and valedictory function and Mother Enriketta here on Tuesday.

Speaking at the meeting, Prof Parvati said that students should improve their knowledge by reading various books and newspapers.  Guest of honour K Surya Prabhakar, manager of youth services department, said the students should go ahead with the encouragement given by the college management.

The College management has celebrated the Mother Enriketta feast on the occasion and the students have performed the life of mother Enriketta as a music dance ballet.  Later the guests gave away the certificates and medals to the merit students.
