Tahasildar lands in ACB net

Tirupati: The ACB sleuths caught Gangadhara Nellore mandal Tahasildar Susheela red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs 15,000 from a farmer Rajendra for issuing a pattadar passbook. Rajendra had approached the Tahasildar seeking pattadar passbook for his farm land.

But, the Tahasildar demanded him to pay her Rs 20,000. Rajendra had agreed to pay Rs 15,000 and informed the ACB. A case was registered against the Tahasildar and she was produced before the ACB court. The court remanded Tahasildar to judicial custody.
