Amalapuram civic body presents 245-cr budget

Amalapuram: The civic body on Wednesday presented Rs 245-crore budget for the financial year 2018-19. In the budget session held here with the civic body’s Chairman Chikkala Ganesh in chair, the meeting passed revised estimates of the last year’s budget.

Earlier, Commissioner Ch VVS Bapiraju placed before the House the agenda for discussion on income and expenditure of the civic body. The estimated income of the civic body was put at Rs 245 crore, while the expenditure was pegged at Rs 244 crore.
