Vijayawada: Disputes and discontent among leaders of YSR Congress Party were exposed at its party workers meeting of Gudivada and Vijayawada Central constituencies here on Wednesday. Especially the leaders of two groups, former MLAs Vangaveeti Radhakrishna and Malladi Vishnu expressed their anger against the leadership.

Former MLA Vishnu did not come on to the dais even he was invited by the leaders several times. Even the city party president Velampalli Srinivas personally requested him to come over to dais but he confined himself to sit, along with party workers. On the other hand, the followers of Vangaveeti Radhakrishna also raised slogans against the party leadership.

They questioned the party leadership why their leader was not being invited for party meetings. Party district unit president Samineni Uday Bhanu appealed to them to keep silence. He said that Vangaveeti Radhakrishna was being invited for all the meetings. However, Radhakrishna also reached meeting after some time.

Former minister Kolusu Pardha Saradhi said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was cheating people. He asked the Naidu as to how he was continuing his party MPs in the Central Cabinet while criticising the government. He said that the Chief Minister was playing a dual role for his self-interest. Several leaders were also present.
