Jagan promises 10,000 pension to kidney patients
Kanigiri: YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy assured various sections of people a better life after he forms government with their support.
Jagan began his Padayatra on Wednesday morning from the outskirts of Timmapalem village in Kondapi assembly constituency. He walked 13.5 kilometres during the day covering Cheruvukommupalem, K Agraharam, Parchuruvari Palem, Vengalapuram crossroads and reached Pedaalavalapadu in Kanigiri Assembly constituency by the evening.
Jaganmohan Reddy received grand welcome from the local cadre, farmers and women throughout his walk and posed for a lot of selfies and photographs with the people. At Paleti Ganga, local Yadava community leaders welcomed Jaganmohan Reddy in a traditional way with the ‘Bollavulu’ as a gratitude to him for his support for establishment of Yadava Corporation.
The women from DWCRA and self-help groups and farmers complained to Jaganmohan Reddy that they were not provided total loan waiver facility and banks were refusing to provide fresh loans to them.
A few kidney disease patients also visited him to explain their problems and inability to go to work. Jaganmohan Reddy promised them a pension of Rs 10,000 and better health care services after the YSRCP secures power in the State.
The representatives of Akshaya Gold victims met Jaganmohan Reddy in the evening and explained that there were about 10.11 lakh people who were cheated by the organisation.
They requested him to demand the government to seize Rs 450 crore worth assets of the Akshayan Gold and do justice to them. Jaganmohan Reddy assured them justice as soon as the YSRCP forms government in the State.
On Thursday, Jaganmohan Reddy will continue his Padayatra in Ramapuram, Gudevaripalem cross roads in PC Palli mandal and enter Hazees Puram in Kanigiri mandal.
