Corruption rampant in Naidu’s rule: Jagan

Kanigiri: The YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy stressed on the need for clean political system in which the recall of the elected people’s representative should be possible if he fails to keep his poll promises. Continuing his Praja Sankalpa Yatra on 96th day, Jaganmohan Reddy addressed a public meeting at Kanigiri in Prakasam district on Saturday.

Starting his Padayatra from Hajispuram, Jaganmohan Reddy went through Kanthamvari Palem crossroads, Chinaeerlapadu Crossroads, Peramgudipalli crossroads, Chintalapalem, Sankhavaram, Kanigiri and Takaripalem. 

Addressing the public meeting, Jaganmohan Reddy has alleged that the four-year rule of Chandrababu Naidu in the state is full of corruption. He said that he would reduce the sale of liquor in the state. He flayed TDP government for increase in fuel prices, electricity, APSRTC ticket prices, house taxes and for reducing the rice quota in ration shops. 

The YSRCP chief has said that Chandrababu Naidu promised the youth about the unemployment allowance and each person has to get allowance for 45 months and total dues amount to Rs 90,000.
  
Alleging that the Chief Minister is resorting to corruption at higher levels using natural resources and contractors, he said that the ruling party bought the MLAs.  He said that the system should be changed to such a way that the politician who cannot keep his poll promises should be sent back to home.

Speaking about the water problem in Prakasamdistrict, Jaganmohan Reddy has said that about 787 in the 2,333 habitations are severely affected by fluorideand the public are suffering from fluorosis and kidney diseases. He said that about 423 people have lost lives in the last four years due to  kidney diseases.

Explaining about the fees reimbursement and other monetary support to education as part of the Navaratnalu, Jaganmohan Reddy promised the parents that he takes the responsibility of paying the full tuition fees to all higher education students along with the transfer of Rs 20,000 to the student for mess and hostel charges per year.

He promised to give Rs 15000 per year to the parents for sending their children to school.
