Inter exams to begin from Feb 28

The Board of Intermediate on Friday released the schedule for first year and second year examination. As per the Board, the first-year examination will begin on February 28 and second year exams will start on March 2 and exams will be conducted till March 19.

Speaking to media here, Intermediate Board Commissioner B Udayalakshmi said that 10,26,891 students would appear for the intermediate examinations. The exams will start at 9 am and end by 12 pm and students must reach the examination centres by 8:30 am. Students can download hall tickets through the website of jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in and counter signatures can be done by the principals over the hall tickets.

Udayalakshmi said as the jumbling system was being implemented for intermediate examinations, an app “intermediate public examination centre locator” was developed. “Students can download the app from Google Play store which will make easy to find the examination centre,” she said.

She also said 116 of total 1,423 examination centres were identified as problematic and all necessary steps were taken to prevent mass copying. “Students will be debarred for eight exams if they are caught in copying cases and invigilators will be selected through lottery system. Mobile phones will not be allowed into examination centres. CC cameras will be arranged for spot valuation,” she said.
