While fighting for public cause, I was jailed: M Venkaiah Naidu

Visakhapatnam: Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu has said that he was student of Andhra University in Vizag and also experienced 18 months jail life. When the guests laughed, he said that of course, the jail term for fighting on public issues and not for other reasons.

Claiming that he is the custodian of Constitution of India, the Vice-President explained the success of the government’s daring move on Demonetisation and GST.  He also claimed that money from the bathrooms, bedrooms and inside the pillows came to the bank chests after the demonetisation.

 A constable Sanyasi Rao collapsed at the main gate while performing his duties. Observing the blood coming out from his mouth, other police immediately shifted him to KGH. His health condition is said to be stable, the KGH doctors said. They said that it was not a food poison case. Due to severe ill-health, the constable collapsed and was admitted in the hospital.
