Home Guard dies of cardiac arrest

Visakhapatnam: Owing to high pressurein the duty and mental stress, a Home Guard, the 35-year-old Ch Raju, who was performing his duties at the main entrance of the CIIs Partnership Summit venue,died of cardiac arrest on Sunday.
Raju on the second day of the summit, attended the duties at the entrance gate and while performing his duty, suddenly collapsed alerting his colleagues that he is suffering with chest pain.
The colleagues immediately called up the 108 Service and shifted him to KGH. The doctors at KGH declared that Raju was brought dead. The body was handed over to the family members after the post-mortem. Raju is survived by wife and one son.
