Dogs attack, kill 9 year-old boy

Vizianagaram: In a shocking incident, a nine-year-old boy died after stray dogs attacked him. The incident occurred in Ampapalli village of Balijipet mandal in Vizianagaram district on Tuesday morning.

Nine-year-old Jaswant was attacked by about 10 stray dogs while he was going to school. They bit him on his neck and head. The boy died while being rushed to the shopital.

Jaswanth is the only son of his parents. The parents are inconsolable. This is the second incident of a person being killed by dog bites in the mandal. The locals are demanding that the Government put an end to the stray dog menace.
