Technical symposium on CreSensE-2K18 kicks off
Vizianagaram: The two-day national level student technical symposium “CreSensE-2K18” kicked off at JNTUK, UCEV, here on Monday. The symposium was organised by department of computer science & engineering.
A series of technical and non-technical events such as Project Expo, Code Coliseum, CPU Assembling, Code Buddy, paper presentations and workshops on Android App development and ethical hacking were initiated in association with IIT-Bombay.
Nearly 600 students from various colleges across the state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have participated. Students are advised to learn programming fundamentals and contemporary technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, virtual reality and big data analytics by the chief guest & CEO of Miracle Software Systems, USA, Prasad V Lokam.
College principal Prof K Ramu advised the students to learn adaptability and learning skills throughout their life. Along with technical skills, interpersonal skills are also need of the hour, stressed by Prof G Saraswathi, vice-principal of college. The HOD of computer science and engineering department Prof R Rajeswara Rao also addressed the gathering.
