V-C exhorts students to excel in all fields

Tirupati: Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU) Vice-Chancellor Y Haribabu gave a call to students to excel in all fields. After inaugurating the two-day inter-varsity cultural festival for National Service Scheme (NSS) students here on Monday, the V-C said that it is an excellent opportunity for NSS students to exhibit their talents in the cultural festival.

He encouraged them to imbibe leadership qualities through NSS activities. “Leadership traits will help students to reach higher positions in their lives and emerge as good citizens in the future,” he stated. Earlier, the V-C flagged off a rally in which students took part. 

More than 300 students from Andhra, Sri Venkateswara, Vikrama Simhapuri, Sri Krishnadevaraya, and Krishna universities and from JNTUs at Kakinada and Anantapur are participating in the cultural festival. SVVU Dean Dr Padmanaba Reddy, NSS Coordinator Prof Sujatha varsity PD Jaya Chandra and students were present.
