Ganta releases Set III for Inter exams
Vijayawada: HRD minister Ganta Srinivas Rao said in view of the problems faced earlier in conducting the Intermediate examinations, all precautionary measures had been taken for the smooth conduct of BIE-2018.
The minister released BIE paper-I set III question paper at a private hotel on Wednesday morning. Addressing the media persons, Srinivasa Rao said that 48 help desks were arranged and 116 exam centres were declared problematic.
The officers were instructed to provide all facilities to the students, he said. The minister said for the first year, seven types of grading will be implemented.
Students securing 91 to 100 marks will be given A1 grade, 81 to 90 marks A2 grade, 71-80 marks B1 grade, 61 to 70 marks B2 grade, 51 to 60 marks C1 grade, 41-50 C2 marks grade and 35 to 40 marks D grade and below 35 marks would be fail.
The minister further said that drinking water facility, lighting, first aid and infrastructural facility were provided at the examination centres. He said strict action will be taken against the college management, if students are made to sit on the floor and write exam.
Electronic gadgets would not allowed inside the exam hall except chief department officer. A 24 hours helpline number 0866-2974130 was provided to register complaints. BIE centre locator app was available to find the examination centre. Toll-free number 18002749868 can be dialled between 6 am to 8 pm to register complaints.
