One dies in road accident

Visakhapatnam: A man, who is on his way to examination centre for TET examination, died on the spot when a van hit his two wheeler at Chinnaypalem in Sabbavaram mandal on Tuesday.According to police, the deceased was identified as M Pothu Raju (34), a resident of Pydipalem village in Makavarapalem mandal.

Two TET aspirants Pothu Raju and D Nooka Raju were going on a two wheeler to write TET examination at ION Digital Zone Centre near Chinnamusiliwada of Pendurthy mandal.

Nooka Raju was riding the vehicle and when the duo reached Chinnayapalem a van which is coming in opposite direction from Pendurthy and proceeding towards Sabbavaram  hit the two wheeler and as a result Nooka Raju fell into bushes  while Pothu Raju, who was pillion riding, fell on the road and run over by the van. Police registered a case and took the van driver into their custody.
