BJYM demands High Court, second capital for Rayalaseema
Kadapa: BJYM central committee member A Suresh has demanded the state government to initiate steps for establishing second capital and the High Court in Rayalaseema districts. Addressing press conference here on Wednesday, he said Rayalaseema region is still backward due to delay in completion of irrigation projects, failure in establishing industries, and non-implementation of decentralization of development.
He has stated that people of Anantapur and Kurnool districts are groaning that their districts should have merged in Telangana state as there is no future in truncated Andhra Pradesh. However, he made it clear that the Modi government is committed to development of Rayalaseema districts. Local BJP leader T Ramesh Naidu and others were present.
