Pawan panel report tomorrow
Hyderabad: The Joint Fact-Finding Committee (JFFC) constituted by Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan reportedly came to a conclusion that neither the Centre nor the State government had done anything for the benefit of the people post bifurcation of the State in 2014.
The members of the JFFC who met at the office of Jana Sena here on Thursday spent time giving final touches to the report they have come up with. Jana Sena chief Pawan Kaylan took part in deliberations.
According to sources, the report has indicted the Centre for not keeping the promises made in the AP State Reorganisation Act and at the same time felt that the State too did not do its part by not exerting enough pressure on the Centre for getting what is due to the people. The report of the fact-finding committee would be placed before the people on March 3.
The members of the JFFC who met on Thursday included former secretary in Union Home Ministry K Padmanabhaiah, Lok Satta founder Jayaprakash Narayan, former AP Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao, former MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar and former IAs officer Thota Chandrasekhar.
