Tirumala forest fire put out in time

Tirupati: A fire accident occurred at barbers’ quarters area forest area on Friday at Tirumala. It is believed that the cause of fire could be a mischievous act. TTD forest officials are suspecting that someone must have thrown lighted cigarette into the forest area.

A few locals and TTD personnel have successfully contained the fire from spreading to other forest areas by spraying water. It took 45 minutes for the fire personnel to reach the spot.
