Denying SCS to AP decried

Anantapur: CPM district party workers under the leadership of district secretary Obulakonda Reddy staged a dharna at the Tower Clock Junction here on Saturday, demanding justice to AP under the AP Reorganisation Act. 

Addressing the party activists, Reddy decried the ruling TDP and the BJP governments in the state and centre for doing grave injustice to the state by denying the Special Category Status (SCS) as well as the provisions of the AP Reorganisation Act. He said that the centre and the state governments had colluded to deprive to the state what it is called its rightful privileges as per the law.
