SCS stir in Vizag with South film stars, says Kethireddy
Tirupati: Visakhapatnam will soon be the venue for the Special Category Status (SCS) agitation with film stars of South India, said Tamil Nadu Telugu Yuvasakthi President Kethireddy Jagadeeswar Reddy. Speaking in Tirumala on Saturday, he told the media that, he prayed to Lord Venkateswara to make the programme at Visakhapatnam a success.
He said, soon he will meet film stars Rajinikanth, Kamal Hasaan, Upendra, Sivaraj Kumar and Mohan Lal to enlighten them on the injustice done to AP and seek their support for the agitation by participating in the programme at Visakha. The film stars should come forward for the cause and fight just as they did in the case of Jallikattu agitation in Tamil Nadu.
To unite all Telugu people across the world, they have formed International Joint Action Committee (IJAC) for AP Special Status and its main objective was to involve all NRIs in the agitation by chalking out an action plan. He said, that if he succeeds in his efforts and AP gets SCS, he will make padayatra from Chennai to Tirumala.
