Chariot procession conducted

Kadapa: As part of annual festival of Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple in Anantha Rajapuram of Badwel mandal, chariot procession was performed on a grand scale.  Devotees in large numbers thronged the temple to witness the event.

According to the historians, the Vishnu temple was built by Turu Vengalanathudu  belonging to Mattirajula dynasty in 13th century. The endowments department has made elaborate arrangements for smooth conduct of the event.
