Scholarships distributed to 220 poor students

Amaravati: The Krishna Devaraya Aid for Poor and Underprivileged Trust on Sunday distributed scholarships to 220 students. Trust chairman Tulasi Ramachandra Prabhu Additional DGP of Maharashtra VV Lakshminarayana were present. Addressing the students, Lakshminarayana advised them to develop skills for ensuring development of the country.

He said life would become meaningful if teachings of the Bhagavad Gita and the Vedas were adopted by the people. Teachings of Swamy Vivekananda should be followed in true spirit, he mooted.Ramachandra Prabhu thanked the donors for giving scholarships to the poor student. He said a part of profits of Tulasi Seeds was being set apart for offering scholarships to students in Kadapa, Kurnool, Visakhapatnam, Chittoor, Nellore, Prakasam and East Godavari  districts.

Trustees Yogish Chandra, Tulasi Krishna Chaitanya, Ankireddy Sambasiva Rao, VR Foundation Chairperson Vidadala Rajani, IT Joint Commissioner Telaga Reddy Satyanandam, Police Officers’ Association secretary Dalavayi Subramanyam were present.
