BJP fumes at TDP’s anti-PM stance

Amaravati: BJP leaders expressed their strong resentment over the flexi boards erected by Vijayawada TDP leaders near AP Assembly and Vijayawada city criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP.

Speaking to reporters at AP Assembly, BJP legislature party leader P Vishnu Kumar Raju alleged that the flexi boards were arranged only with the backing of TDP leaders. He said it shows the stance of some of the party leaders.

MLA Akula Satyanarayana condemned the flexi boards, terming  it an attempt to spread hatred against the BJP. MLC P N Madhav said BJP cadres could also erect such boards.  MLC Somu Veeraju said the TDP leaders were using abusive language and threatening to beat up BJP leaders during discussions in television channels.  

The boards were set up in the name of TDP Vijayawada urban vice-president Katragadda Babu. Photos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and IT minister Nara Lokesh were displayed on the boards questioning the Prime Minister on discrimination towards Andhra Pradesh.
