Chandragiri becomes all-women police station from Tuesday

Chandragiri railway station in Chittoor district has been declared as an all-women railway station. This would be the first all-women railway station the Telugu states. Chandragiri is a station under Guntakal Railway Division.The station has a station superintendent, three assistant superintendents, four point key persons – all women to manage the affairs of the police station.

South Central Railway general manager Vinod Kumar Yadav would formally inaugurate the all-women railway station on Tuesday. Guntakal DRM VP Singh and Tirupati Railway manager Kuppala Satyanarayana would also attend the programme.
