IRCTC’s North India tour from March 19

Tirupati: IRCTC will be operating a special tourist train to visit ‘Uttara Bharata Yatra’ covering Mata Vaishno Devi temple in this month. Total Yatra will be of 11 days and 10 nights duration and starts from Renigunta on March 19 at 12.05 am and reach Secunderabad at 12 noon.

From there, the train proceeds to Agra via Kazipet, said the Area Manager of IRCTC BV Ramesh. Speaking to the media here on Monday, Ramesh said, the package covers six major pilgrim places in Uttara Bharat – Agra, Mathura, Delhi, Haridwar, Amritsar and Vaishno Devi.

In AP, the entraining and detraining halts will have at Kadapa, Yerraguntla, Gooty, Kurnool, Mahabubnagar, Secunderabad, Kazipet and Ramagundam. It will have 16 coaches out of which sleeper coaches are 12, one AC 3 tier and one pantry car.

Total fare would be Rs 10,920 for sleeper class passengers and Rs 13,230 for AC 3 tier passengers. It includes morning tea or coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner and one litre drinking water per day.
