Make TTD marriage halls user-friendly: TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal

Tirupati: The refurbishment of TTD Kalyana Mandpams should be completed to make it more user-friendly, said TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal. During the review meeting with senior officials of TTD in conference hall of Administrative Building here on Monday, the EO said, devotees wish to perform the marriages of their kin in TTD Kalyana Mandapams as they feel it as a sentiment attached to the divine blessings.

He directed the Engineering wing officials, to come out with an action plan to take up the civil, electrical, air-conditioned works in TTD Kalyana Mandapams for the next review meeting which will be conducted soon.

As the summer season has commenced, the EO instructed the concerned to re-use the sprinklers arranged in four mada streets and provide relief to the pilgrims from scorching heat.

The EO also directed to beautify the entire premises of the new Srivari Seva Sadan with green scape and instructed the IT wing officials to make changes in the existing on-line general Srivari Seva application enabling group as well individual registrations in 2-day, 3-day, 4-day and 7-day service.

“The department-wise deployment of Srivari Sevakulu should be checked from time to time to enhance efficiency of Srivari Seva services,” he maintained. The EO said, there should be a detailed action plan while constructing toilets, queue lines etc. keeping in view the heavy pilgrim influx during Vaikuntha Ekadasi and Radhasapthami days.

Anil Singhal also directed the concerned, to water the plants, which are planted in Alipiri footpath route regularly during the ensuing summer season. The second phase LED lighting works should be completed by this month end, the EO instructed the Electrical wing officials.

He has also instructed the concerned officials to earmark some of the SSD counters to physically challenged pilgrims also which are coming up both at Tirupati and in Tirumala. Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju, CVSO A Ravikrishna, FACAO Balaji, and other senior officials were also present.
