Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering students excel in sports meet

Mylavaram: Students of Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering (LRBCE) excelled in a three-day JNTU-K Central Women Inter- Collegiate Tournament and Athletics Meet at Surampalem from March 2.

College students A Padmaja, S Deepika, G Nandini, CH Mamatha and P Anusha bagged first prizes in chess competition, while V Renuka bagged gold medal in 200 metres run and silver medal in 100 metres run.  

Students S Renuka Devi and K Vivedika secured bronze medals in javelin throw and long jump events respectively. In men’s category, K Ravi, V Vinay Kumar bagged silver medals in high jump and long jump respectively.

LRBCE vice-chairman Lakshmireddy Prasad Reddy, president G Srinivas Reddy, principal K Appa Rao, vice-principal Dr K Srinivas Reddy and infrastructure director K Thimma Reddy congratulated medal winners on the occasion.
