Vizag women want RGV arrested

The women’s united forum (Mahila Sanghala Aikya Vedika) of Visakhapatnam has demanded that director Ram Gopal Varma be arrested immediately for making lewd comments against women. 

The Vedika members submitted a petition to the joint police commissioner of Visakhapatnam demanding his  arrest. They said Varma has turned peddling of sleaze and commodification of women’s body into a fine art and added that he was misleading the youth of the country.

In fact, in an open dare, RGV had announced that he would organize a public meeting on International Women’s Day in Vizag. The women’s organizations have announced that they would stop RGV from holding the meet. They said if Varma is not arrested immediately, they would further intensify the agitation.
